Engaged during active renovation, this Forest Hills co-op required immediate layout correction and system clarification before cabinetry fabrication.

atelier bauherr re-evaluated the proposed two-wall configuration, relocating the sink to the window wall to restore spatial balance and improve workflow. Mechanical feasibility, plumbing relocation, gas alignment, and ventilation routing were verified prior to design commitment.

Millwork was fully detailed to eliminate interpretation on site. Pocket-door cabinetry integrates a concealed breakfast station and microwave drawer, while full-height panels and grip detailing maintain visual restraint. A continuous Dekton surface extends from countertop to backsplash to reinforce material continuity.

Uneven floors, mesh-concrete walls, and structural reinforcement requirements were addressed through coordinated framing and site verification to ensure dimensional accuracy before installation.
