This residential kitchen renovation was completed as part of an apartment transformation at Sutton Place South in New York City.

Serving as Lead Kitchen Designer and Project Manager, the work focused on the planning and development of a fully integrated kitchen system within the broader architectural renovation framework. The scope included kitchen layout planning, appliance integration, cabinetry specification, and the coordination of the kitchen infrastructure with the project’s architectural and construction teams.

The existing space presented several design challenges, including multiple floor levels, structural beams, and existing utility lines and building infrastructure that required careful coordination during the planning process. The project also involved opening a previously enclosed kitchen and transforming it into an open-plan layout with a dedicated dining area, allowing the space to function more naturally for daily living and entertaining.

Particular attention was given to spatial organization, workflow efficiency, and the precise integration of cabinetry, appliances, and architectural constraints. The design required careful alignment between design intent, fabrication requirements, and installation logistics to ensure that the kitchen system could be implemented accurately within the existing apartment conditions.

Responsibilities also included the preparation of detailed technical drawings and the coordination with fabrication and installation teams throughout the implementation phase, ensuring that the design intent was carried through to the final built result.
